Dude, I don't hate the idea because it interferes with Johnlock, I know Johnlock won't ever REALLY be canon (... well, explicitly anyhow). I'm thinking about the fact that if John gets married he'll no longer live at 221B, he'll have to ACTUALLY do his job because he has a wife and things to do with her to occupy his life, ALSO because of that, he'll RARELy do cases with Sherlock, and even if he and Sherlock still see each other a good bit, it doesn't negate the fact that Sherlock will be all alone again.

IT ISNT ABOUT JOHNLOCK, IT"S ABOUT SHERLOCK GOING BACK TO TALKING TO THE SKULL! Sure, it would be payback for him leaving John alone for 3 years, but HE WOULD SAY SOMETHING CLEVER AND TURN TO HEAR JOHN TELL HIM HE'S COOL AND NOBODY WOULD BE THERE ;___; THAT IS WHY WE HATE THE IDEA OF MARY MORSTAN! *gross fangirl sobbing*
